Day 111 – 119: Surface Area and Volume

We spent the 2 weeks leading up to Spring Break working on volume and surface area of prisms and cylinders.  The students continued to use the format of setting up the formula, doing the substitution, and showing the answer.

This has been so helpful for them to show their work and steps in solving.  I saw a ton of improvement using this format and students seemed to head into the break feeling confident and pleased with their work!
